The Improved Preconditioned Accelerated Overrelaxation (AOR) Iterative Method for ??Matrix

Abstract

Many authors have presented preconditioned schemes for linear system Ax=b to improve the convergence rates of Accelerated overrelaxation AOR (Successive Overrelaxation) iterative schemes. The preconditioner that strike a balance between the two general preconditioners are proposed, in this present work. Some comparison theorems on preconditioned iterative schemes for solving L-Matrix linearsystem are analyzed. From comparison theorems, we can conclude that the present preconditioner can apply to improve the convergence of AOR iterative scheme under mild assumption on coefficient matrix A. Some numerical examples are presented to support the theoretical results of this paper
